To use this handy-dandy configuration file maker, just run the 'Config Maker' program that's sitting in the root of the Newtek folder- when the program is up, load the config files that reside in your NewTek/Programs folder- the paths to your plug-ins will be auto-magically added to the configuration file! When you're done, you can leave the 'LWConfig' file in the Programs folder. The 'LightWave Modeler Prefs' file needs to be in your 'System Folder/Preferences' folder however, so drag it to thar directory to take advantage of the plug-ins associated with Modeler.
If you purchase any 3rd party plug-ins, or download freeware/shareware plugs off the net, you'll need to load them yourself via the 'Add PlugIns' command found in each application.
We can't stress strongly enough how important it is for the path to the NewTek directory to not have any spaces in the drive/folder names!
If you have any problems running the Config Maker, we've included back up config files in the *suprise* 'Backup Config' directory!
